ml researcher & engineer
I'm a researcher at Q Labs, a lab focused on understanding and solving generalization. I live in SF.
Before this, I cofounded UMPH AI and worked as an ML engineer at Oxy. My PhD was in data privacy and model fairness.
Most of my thinking orbits a single question: what does it mean to actually understand something? The capacity to take what you've learned in one place and use it somewhere new. We don't quite have that yet.
I find the universe unreasonably interesting.
